Someone mentioned the timing chain in the Passat? It is complex, whether it is better to give the car to a mechanic?
There is no timing chain, but it is complex for sure. You have to follow step extremely carefully. I glanced over one step and it cost me a lot of headache and money.I would suggest give it to a mechanic if you can afford.
